Last Thursday we had  a great morning at the local Red Jelly creative play session set up by the wonderful Tash Tamlyn who invited us to take part and join in with the messy fun.

We met lots of lovely mums and their babies and made footprint pledges as part of our  "Babies first steps" campaign for Fairtrade Fortnight. There was lots of paint and lots of mess and the babies loved it!  All of the footprints were displayed at our Fairtrade event at Brighton and Hove Junior School the following day and for every painting we took to exhibit, we also gave the mums a footprint on a card to take away with them.

At Red Jelly classes, which run throughout the week, children play with and explore a variety of art and craft activities in their own time and own way.

Red Jelly was set up by Tash Tamlyn, a mum to two young children. An art and craft enthusiast, who just loves making things, Tash hopes to share her creativity and imagination with parents/carers and children, in a playful environment.

Red Jelly is a fantastic activity for both children and mums, all three of our little monkeys love being able to make as much mess as they want, painting, singing, exploring and being creative without limitation.

Here's some of the artwork the babies created!....
